Dateline New York

Journalists of a South Asian daily in New York are caught in the vortex of post 9/11 paranoia. Drawn from one of my upcoming novels, "Dateline New York" (working title) is also scripted, edited and directed by me. It remains to be seen whether this turns out to be a case of hubris or genuine talent. It is true that technology has democratized filmmaking to the extent that even I can have the gumption to make one. I expect to release the film on the net late in 2008.
